Hey all,

In about a week, I will be making my way back to the States. We have about 4 days of travel then a debrief in Gainesville, Georgia for a few days. It is hard to believe the trip is coming to an end.

This week I have been reading the book of Joshua, again loving the Bible more and more. Joshua was faithful to the Lord and His covenant with Israelites into the land promised to Abraham. He showed obedience before, during, and after God fulfilled His promises. The Lord is with us in every experience, my prayer is to remain faithful to Him! I am learning to keep in full obedience to the Lord, serving Him and being willing to be used to build His Kingdom. Something specific is being obedient to Him even in the things that I do not want to do. I know He fulfills His promises and His plans are better than mine.

I look at Joshua 23:10, “One man of you puts to flight a thousand, since it is the Lord your God who fights for you, just as He promised you.” He has promises for my life and will be with me, fighting for me every step of the way! What an amazing comfort, knowing there is no weapon that can be formed against me.

In ministry this week, I got to teach English and then our group taught life lessons. The class learned about family: family members, how families look different, and we have a biological family and the body of Christ. We made family trees to represent our understanding of family. This upcoming week, I get to teach about Thanksgiving and other American traditions. I hope to be able to serve the class a taste of America. Mmmm, turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, etc.

Also during ministry this week, a girl accepted Jesus into her life. My team shared about baptisms and our personal experiences. I was fortunate to share how I was baptized as an infant, but also when I was in Guatemala this past summer. I shared how as in infant, my parents baptized me, but then when I was in Guatemala I declared my declaration of faith. We were praying and worshipping and the girl shared her heart. She wanted to accept Jesus into her life, and not to follow Buddha anymore. I was in tears, so was majority of the room. The Lord was moving in her heart and the room. It was so special our team got to see the fruit being beared. My prayer is for rich fruit to continue to beared and they all continue to be obedient to Him! Praise the Lord!

Ephesians 3:17, “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith- that you, being rooted and grounded in love.”

Finally, our team got to go to Sticky Falls this weekend. It is a waterfall that you get to climb up! The views were beautiful, something you seen in commercials. I just love exploring His creation and He continues to show me glimpses of His paradise!

Prayer requests:

  • safe travels back to America, protection from any sickness
  • be present in these last few days in Thailand
  • staying faithful to Him about CGA

CGA stands for Center for Global Action and is a 5 month long discipleship and training school for World Race Alumni. CGA’s mission is to mobilize a generation to be passionate followers of Jesus and to live out their faith whether at home, professionally, church planting, or being a missionary overseas. Through teachings, scripture, and activation during the five months, I will learn how to know myself and God, lead myself, and lead others.

I am so excited for this new season in my life. These past months being able to go on these mission trips have been life changing, now I am ready to learn how to use these skills for future missionary work.

With that being said, I will be fundraising again!

Goal: $5,950

If you or someone you know would like to partner and support me this next season, please let me know!!!!:)) You can donate through the link attached or venmo!
